Pat, I just installed the MS Windows 98 Update from DELL. Aside from the glitches with some drivers, it seems to work well. DELL says it doesn't support the FAT32 technology, and that users should convert their files at their own risk until DELL says otherwise. The interface is improved, and more colorful (if that matters). Drop-down menus work better and once you get used to them, I think better.
