it is quite obvious that our president put himself in a position that war is imminent ... regardless of what happened
I think he has made a miscalculation of the number of countries that do not side with us, he was counting on the support of Russia and we don't get it ...

Bush has made a number of huge miscalculations. First, to assume the American public would unanimously support him in his zeal for war was a huge mistake. Second, to assume that the rest of the world would agree with his unilateral aggressive approach is ludicrous, especially since he did not consult with them prior to making this decision. Finally, to assume that going to war, killing thousands of civilians, and bringing home young married, American parents in body bags will get him elected next year boarders on delusional.

No matter how this war goes, Bush is a gonner next year. Even his own party sounds unsure of the morality and appropriateness of his aggression. This is likely due to what they are hearing from their constituencies.

No one has ever claimed that Bush had a great deal of intelligence. Unlike other presidents who acknowledged their own intellectual limits and surrounded themselves with surrogate intelligence, Bush arrogantly a)failed to accept his own significant intellectual limits, and b)failed to compensate for this by surrounding himself with the intelligence he lacked.

He's history next year. Buy Bush Puts.

best...
