dumbmoney, Re: The irony is that Intel doesn't need Merced to win the high-end CPU business. They are already winning that business with the lowly x86! But still they need to go to 64 bits one day. It will be interesting to see if Intel's own attempt will push itself(x86) from the king's seat. Every other vendor has attempted and failed. Gary
