John & Mitch - Was HP actually shipping (or preparing to ship) that new laptop mentioned in the post? If so, they must have a battery supply firmed up, no? Just stewing on that 4X4 possibility. Maybe the 8X10 comments in the article are just a diversion. Why go to 8X10 if you can swap in an auxiliary 4X4 battery pack for just the road trips it's needed? The OEM would see a sweet profit on all those accessory battery sales! (Just a lurker who can't sleep on this one.)
