When the Nasdaq started crashing many of these mutual funds ran to the DOW stocks for saftey. Lots of 401k money retirement money and so forth is tied up in these stocks.

Now here is my theory and it is a simple as bread and water.
This market is being controlled by bear funds, hedge funds what ever you want to call them and they are calling all the shots. They knew Janis, Vangard (name any huge mutual fund) was heavily waited in the Nasdaq stocks so they attacked them. Its called a bear raid. They raided these stocks and kept pounding on them. Now there isn't much left to pound on in the Nasdaq. So what do they do? They smell blood in the DOW stocks where the bulls have been hiding. In my opinion they are going to do the same thing to these so called dow stocks. They are going to raid them and pound on them.

Anyone notice the price of oil today? It hit a several week low. Now your energy stocks which many are still trading at 52wk or even all time highs are about to get raided. Mom and Pop and Joe Smo will see the Dow sinking and scream get me out get me out. The bears will just short into their selling. When all this gets weeded out we may be in for another bull run.

Just chatter but thought I would give my .02 worth.
