I agree with you . Stock target of 130 in the short term is not unreasonable, PE would still be reasonable. As far as AMD and Cyrix are concerned, are you guys nuts? Grove predicts costs for building
next generation chip plant could run to 5-10 billion dollars, reasearch and devbelopment alone would kill AMD. By the time K6 comes to market in quantity it will be an also ran. MMX architecture, P7 around the corner. AMD had better have suuccessor to P6 waiting in the wings ready to roll in 2 years or it will be the "also ran" forever. Cyrix, same problem. Why fight the trend. Buy Intel , Hold INTEL, be happy. Ride out the blips, if you sell out Intel every time it corrects you are guaranteed to lose money. This is not a short term traders stock right now, too volatile day to day (unless you are out on dec or jan options that are not too far out of the money). Short term I think this stock can trade in a range from 110 to 125. Day to day news gyrates this baby but long term trend is unmistakable, not one analyst out there will say Intel is a long term underperform.
