Public schools replaced learning with what they consider 'positive feedback.' It's all about helping the student develop a healthy self image. But a confident and positive self image can only be acquired with true effort and performance. They're doing the students a terrible dis-service by not insisting they learn and prove it by passing No Child Left Behind standards.
