The description of the patent is not totally incomprehensible to a layman. I did have one question, however. What is the difference between the term "exemplary" and "not exemplary?" Does exemplary imply the device or process is unique? Does not exemplary suggest some uniqueness, but built on other, earlier discoveries? The references to earlier patents and to the literature are interesting as well, including one patent granted to Wozniak (of Apple fame?).
