Wysiwyg,

I think QCOM's game plan is "the more the merrier". I doubted if QCOM is willing to team the recently declared winner, CDMA, with any one platform, especially when it is unproven.

pdQ, soon to be on market, is going to be the leading edge hand held PC/handset. That is a 3COM platform. Wireless Knowledge would or should be a CE platform. I have to do some digging but I know WIND has some development arrangement with QCOM a year or so ago (anyone remember what it was?)

I think in wireless communication, QCOM is going to be the monopolist, not dollar Bill.
