While the number of short shares on some these stocks seems huge, when you compare the short level to the average daily volume a different picture emerges. For stocks like INTC, CSCO and MSFT the short position represent less than two days volume. If we looked at a stock that bears were really targeting, like ZONA, we would see a short interest exceeding 10 days volume or more.

That said, even great stocks like QCOM often correct after getting extended on a run, so nimble traders can make money on the downside even while bulls are raking it in on the upside.
