If Philips needs VLSI that badly, why they want to buy it so cheaply? Why would the share holders vote to oust the board in order to sell VLSI to philips at 17? I thought you could take your offer to share holders if it is an attractive offer and majority of share holders do not demand more. I think in this case, share holders are looking at 25+, at least I am. I hope I am not one of the very few.
