simply stated, on behavior and acceptance I think our selfesteem is developed early, like under age 10 our adolescent behavior is full of testing waters but it also is fraught with self-fulfilling behavior toward desired acceptance or lack of acceptance then as adults we are much more in control of our behavior, so that we much more often than not can manifest the behavior that produces the desired or expected result how many times have you heard someone say? - I always get it wrong - I know you are gonna think I am stupid - women just dont like me - I am so forgetful - I never remember people's names - I am always saying offcolor things - I never fit in enough, Jim
