In the last 6-8 months I lost over 20 lb, from 185 down to the low 160's. No particular specific diet. Cut out about 80 - 90% of wheat, corn, rice and white potatoes. Try to remember to eat a little of something fatty with meals. Eat when hungry - and no "comfort eating". Exercising almost daily. No late evening eating. Voluntary caloric restriction - yep, it works. Actually, I think that feeling a bit lighter and in a good shape is... addictive.

Irradiation does not make food radioactive. There really doesn't seem to be any good reason not to use it.
