The biggest reasons why it is hard to start a new business is taxation and regulations. All of the regulations are aimed at big businesses, and often at the expense of small businesses. You don't know much about Europe, do you? Like you didn't know that Germany had mandatory tithing if you were a member of a church... Hard to connect the dots if you are unaware of what most of them are.
