I can't see how these movies had any effect on RNK as they are post-pro and unless they took a good portion of their fees against a percentage, these shows success means nothing.
Lion's Gate is a relatively new company directly involved in tv and movie production and RNK is 90% post-production shop that has almost no interest in direct production excellent long term record and growth. These firms are not peers to each other. Ever since their charge against earnings for their new SGI workstations and software this co. has been in the dumper.
Just one more word on RNK, if they decided to get directly involved in production, in other words direct competition with their very customers, then their long-term success would be bleak.
Personally, I never knew they were involved in Armageddon, I thought that was Digital Domain but I know most of their rev comes from Vancouver area shows like Millenium, Sentinel, Brimstone, First Wave and until this last yr. X-Files.
