Safety features? It's my fault? No flags popped up, Paul. Maybe since then they've corrected their flawed system. No, you're mistaken, it was not my fault. And according to my attorney who was previously in legal at NASD, my suit will be a no-brainer. As a fellow trader (?), I would encourage you to be a little more positive when you see someone get hosed by the broker. As for your supposedly prompt phone service, it literally makes me laugh out loud. Things must have really changed over there. Perhaps when they saw all the customers dropping like flies. If my mailbox is any indication, they screwed tons of people. Glad to hear you've been lucky though.
I've been with A.B. Watley since Web Street screwed me. They are in a completely different business altogether than etrade, WebSt. etc. It is really a totally different experience. I don't need to rehash what is already on the other real broker threads (MBT, Watley, Cyber, JPR, etc.), but please read them if you're interested in efficient service and proper executions. No silly little "call us to verify we're doing our job" message flags at the serious brokerages, Paul.
The only reason I could ever see using Web St. is for an occassional dabble in pink pennies; so, for buying 50K shares @ .04 for $14.95 commission they are definitely the choice. Options? You obviously haven't seen them executed properly yet. Heard of ADPSIS? You're wasting money, whether you realize it yet or not.
Good luck to you. |
