Concerning McAfee it's my big regret for last week. I think it's to late to get in for a short term investisment.
I also think McAfee's stock it very hyped ( Anti-virus software is fashonable at Wall street ) and will go down if they do not diversify there offerering in the long run. It's a relatively small company with a niche market. This is currently it's strenght ( little expenses). But if anti-virus gets built in the future OS it could hurt them.

Anti-virus is a little part of Symantec's offer. Symantec offers a lot of excellent products (PCAnywhere (tele-commuting...) the best Java IDE, Norton, WinFax , a well respected C++ IDE .....).
