To quote the late Struther Martin: "What we have here is a failure
to communicate."

Either I know of PC freak and weirdo on the planet, or there is
a FAR larger market for HIGH quality grapics cards in PC's than
nine seems to think. I forked over $600.00+ for this one. I have not opted for the 8MB upgrade, as I forsee the same thing... an even better card.

I know people who pay many $$$ to have T1 line to their house...
us poor folks have ISDN. (No, I do not know anyone personally who
has a CRAY at home for their "P.C." <g>).

My point being, there is far more segmentation to the consumer PC market. Not every schmuck plods into XYZ's -R-US and buys a schlock
PC with a Triton 512k video board.(nothing against Triton...I think
even they would agree their 512k IDE board is not a big seller.)

So, there are 2 possibilities... A) #9 has no clue what consumer
market segmentation is, and totally the opposite of Intel, they have
completely missed the opportunity to diffentiate their product in the
eyes of the consumer. B) I really do know every freak PC weirdo, etc on the planet. I didn't cost myself @$4k with a crappy earnings release lately. Thus, I vote for option "A".
