IMO Lycos is not a tarbaby. It is one of the blue chips of the Inet. According to reports I have read, Lycos has grown faster than Yahoo. It has about the amount of page views as Yahoo yet the valuation of Yahoo is much higher. Lycos has also added several other Inet companies to the Lycos flag since CMGI started to sell Lycos stock. The money CMGI got for selling Lycos stock has been put to very good use. In fact CMGI is now valued higher than LYCOS and can possibly buy it back again. I would not bet against Wetherell, he is a good poker player in addition to being a good business man. Regards, Wingman
