What gives you the idea that the region is more prone to war than Europe, a region that was "at war for thousands of years"? You are not a "student of history", you are a fortune cookie.

From about the 15th century to the 1930's, "Iraq" was part of the Ottoman Empire. Than it became a British mandate under the League of Nations, and finally a kingdom. The Ba'athists took over about 35 years ago, and Saddam Hussein eventually ascended to be thhe leader of Iraq. What "currents of the river of time" are we talking about? Whatever does that mean, except the racist presumption that Arabs are incapable of adopting democracy?

We did not prop up the regime. We had somewhat friendly relations in the '80s, and hostile relations ever since. But Saddam was tenacious, and his sons were waiting in the wings.

For the rest, again, you are merely assuming the worst, and passing it off as if it were fact.......
