Anything is possible. But IBM has had an uncanny knack of doing long term financing at or near cycle lows in interest rates. That was highlighted on CNBC today. But I remember the last couple, 1993 was right at the lows. And they bought all or most of it back near the peaks in the following cycle. That was a preferred, the other was 100 year garbage again. Makes you want to believe in conspiracies when the big money is that prescient. I saw some fishy activity at DWR near the interest rate peak in 94/95 also, as to how they were handling their inventory.

Even heard Gerstner was in Dallas Nov. 22nd, 1963.
