Robert , RE. Networking and Intel . Cisco and Bay networks business is mainly in switches and routers ,whereas 3Com as far as I know produces large amounts of NICs . I feel that Intel could become more competitive in NICs , but they are probably out of their league in wide area networks and should not give serious competition to Cisco and Bay or even Newbridge. At $37.50 3COM looks a buy as it is in a strong support area . Re. AMD being affected by Intel , with 90% or so of Cisco's products using AMD there does not seem much threat from Intel at the moment unless they can release a superior product , which they haven't done for awhile .
regards , Brian
