In his post, he claimed he was out $40k.

I think he lost $40K twice. In his suicide note, he claims he lost to the IRS twice. Not surprisingly he had other troubles as well......his engineer's license was suspended for a while and there was other crap. I loved how he saw himself as one of the poor people with a house in a middle class neighborhood and his own plane. Because this idiot chose not to be responsible, there is at least one innocent person dead and two critically injured. I hope he is not in a better place.
