Even the panel on FNS is wishy washy on the TSA scanning. Even Bill Kristol is mealy mouthed about the scans, while acknowledging that "it could be done better." Juan Williams is in the "if it makes us safer in the post-9/11 world I'm ok with it" mode.

I'd like to know how TSA selects people for secondary screening. Is it purely random? Or is it just every 10th person, regardless whether it was a 20 year old muslim flying one way or an 80 year old grannie going to visit the family for Thanksgiving?
