Gottfried, I am sure there many people in the same boat (not a sailboat in they SF bay). I am sure the market will turn around and companies with strong fundamentals/cash positions will survive and do well. But worries me is 'would I have to lose to be part of this up cycle'. I am just trying to learn and improve my strategies so that I can take some advantage of this uncertainty. My favorite saying " wall street is full of scoundrals"(sp.?) Yesterday, George Soros in an interview on wall street week on pbs said, (paraphrase)"basically market is amoral" best wishes, kdavy
