I just carried this a step further and send this letter to the head of one of the larger more active Meet-up groups form Ron Paul:

"I have a FABULOUS idea.
Please consider this post on a very very popular and large gold and silver thread on the best investment thread out there.

I was thinking that this would make a statement across the country that we are fed up with the bankrupt financing of wars of aggressions etc
While gold isn't exactly totally counterculture, this idea fits nicely with Ron's proposals concerning gold.

If you like this idea can you let me know and if so can you spread this across the country? I believe that gold is going to double in the next couple years. It's my business to know and I can compile tons of expert opinions on this for you but the main thing is it will also have the two pronged effect of showing that we believe in gold and secondly buying it on this current breakout (due to the dollar sinking) has a better than 75% chance of paying off for the people who buy gold bullion or coins instead of leaving their money in the bank.

What do you think of the idea?"

If they do this look for huge buying to come into the bullion market benefiting everyone who wants to see a return to the gold standard
