re Cable. You won't get that speed when 20,000 more local subscribers clog it up. There have been major problems with it in my area. Two people I know have picked up DSL because of repeated, sporadic slow periods with their cable lines. Of course, the WORST telco company in the nation, BELL ATLANTIC, may be more of the reason.
