I had no idea that a shotgun could be used for deer. Not the way it is done down South where space is not really a problem.

I don't hunt but have a good friend who does. He is an ex-Army sniper who is deadly with a rifle. He also hunts deer with a bow. He has told me how difficult it is to let a deer get close to him without alerting it while he draws his bow. No deodorant, unscented soap, camouflage, complete stillness, the whole bit.

I think Kerry lost a bunch of the deer-hunting vote.
