now tell me whether you think it's a good idea to install the new build. it's like i could fill my hard drive with patches and fixes.

also the post installation procedure has me scratching my head...

"Post-Installation Procedure

The following procedure is required for compiling with the
Microsoft compiler for Java (jvc).

When the installation is finished, use the following command to
run the clspack tool:

clspack -auto

Clspack creates a Classes.zip file in the %WINDIR%\Java\Classes
directory that contains all Java packages currently installed by
the package manager. The Microsoft compiler for Java (jvc)
checks this location by default. If you use another Java compiler
that does not check this location, set your CLASSPATH variable
as follows:

C:\>set
CLASSPATH=%WINDIR%\java\classes\classes.zip;%classpath% "

thanks, rich.

:)
