Well Tech, I'll just have to give you my best picks right here. Since a lot of it concerns AAPL, etc. I think I can justify the bandwidth.

First, today is a great buying day for AAPL. It's a buy at these levels, for sure. At worst I see small profits in 1998 as they milk the Mac. But the upside is the new Jobs paradigm--anything can happen. An Intel-inside separate division, a java machine, who knows? The other two big upsides are the NCs (a great idea for schools, plus a way for Oracle to help Apple out with some cash) and Rhapsody.

Second, I think Global Village is a great, great play right now. It's selling for under three yet they are likely to beat earnings estimates when they report next week. I've loaded up on it. They aren't totally Mac-reliant anymore and anyway, Apple's business in the US and Canada was up. This is GVIL's major market. Apple's Japan problem shouldn't affect them. As long as the overall market stabilizes, I think we can run up to 3.5 before earnings. Any profit, which could happen, and it goes to 4 or more.

Also, read the SI thread for THQI. A steal at $14.25-$15. My absolute best pick for 1998.

Good luck everybody,
Marc
