Question on: Why delay buyout? This in in all respects a question, not a challenge. Why is Lucent less likely to buy Ascend due to its decreased stock price, given that ASND has gone down in step with LU? I don't understand the logic here. Yet 'everyone' says that, so I must be missing something. To me, a 1:1 stock price now would be just as attractive to Ascend, and just as pain/ful/less to Lucent, as when their stocks' prices recover. Help appreciated. TIA. Souze
