From the tone of your message it sounds as if I said the wrong thing.

I would like to apologize for the contents of of my message; I knew when I sent it that the contents were pretty stupid but I didn't realize how offensive they would be.

I am afraid that it is just a fact, however, that the Dow is likely to decline to about 4000 over the next two years or so. Stock prices in general have been bid up too high.

That should provide wonderful opportunities to acquire such fine stocks as Sun at bargain prices. By the way, I don't understand the prejudice against the Unix system that some people seem to have. This message will have been transmitted using a Unix operating system.
