So if interest rates on federal borrowing go from say 4% to ay 8% are we better off because Obama never found a wasteful spending program he didn't want to expand? Are we better off because every year there will be an additional $240 Billion in interest expense at the higher rate on just the Obama borrowing instead of just $240 Billion per year? So please explain to us mere mortals how an additional half trillion dollars per year ($240B + $240B ~= $.5T) in interest due to Obamanomics is helping us.

This assumes only $6 Trillion in new Obama borrowing.

So if President Bush 43 was unpatriotic according to Obama for running up a few Trillion in new borrowing over eight years how is Obama anything but unpatriotic for doing it at four times the rate?

Of course President George W. Bush inherited the Clinton recession just like Obama inherited a recession caused by the massive two step increase in minimum wages. Then just as the Clinton recession started to ease 911 knocked the economy down.

So for partisans to whine that it was all Bush's fault is rather childish and an attempt at being self serving.
