The trouser thing came in via an AP story:

I see it now. Thanks. I was searching on "trousers." I don't know how I missed the A/P article reading through the thread, though. Perhaps I saw "Clinton" in the headline and figured it was more partisan crap, which I routinely skip.

From the chatter here I had this image of him taking file folders and stuffing them into his waistband under his clothes. I see that what he put in his pants was his notes, which I assume means a few folded pieces of paper put in his pants pockets. The larger documents went in his briefcase. That's not nearly as suspicious.
