Gary, I have a $100,000 trading portfolio...Of that I only actively day trade $50,000....(The other $50,000 is in grandma stocks like ERICY, MOT, VECO, MRO,AMTX, etc...).... Many times because of my work schedule, I have a lot sitting in cash...I usually risk around $5000.00 per trade...If I am not so certain, the risk may be 3000.00, and if I am highly confident, 7500.00....Two stocks that I have larger positions in right now are THQI and PTEC(should be out of PTEC tomorrow).....I know Elder in his book recommends 3 to 5% of portfolio per trade, and that is good advice...Any profits I make go to my church, rescue mission, or my wife....Someday, I hope to be able to buy a ticket and visit Lizard in his Manhatten Townhouse. We all have dreams...
