Some Thoughts: When I daytrade I am most successful when I am concentrating on the immediate technical aspects of the stocks behavior and ignoring my own or others views and opinions, news releases, or other noise which is broadcasted throughout the day.

For position trading or long term trading this type of information is definitely useful. But for me,a daytrader, I do not have the luxury of time for extensive analysis or the time for the stock to trade in line
with my opinion of how it should trade.

As a daytrader I must simply learn to recognize the direction a stock is moving as quickly as possible and jump on board until the direction reverses or stalls out.

Arguing with the market is a luxury the daytrader must leave for the position trader or long term investor.
