Some years ago there was a device around that had 5 keys and was hand shaped (kind of like a mouse with 1 key for each finger). You typed by
using various combinations of the keys. Apparently it was (reasonably)
easy to learn to use, and it was possible to significantly exceed typing rates achievble on conventional keyboards. I don't know if anyone else remembers this, or if it was just around in the UK.

It disapeared without a trace, needless to say. I can't remember anything else about it (like what it was called, or anything useful like that). But it sounded great for portable computing.
