The point is: "two generations" IS NOT "never". "Reagan added more to the debt than all of his predecessors put together". This is a rather naive comment that doesn't take into account the size of the economy or the historical record of other presidents. home.netcom.com ahherald.com FDR increased the debt by 1000% more than ALL of his predecessors put together. Wilson increased the debt by 700% more than ALL of his predecessors put together.
