Hi Ken, I've seen references to VB many times. I'm just curious, why would one want to learn this? Or, maybe the correct question is "why"? Many of the DLL files that you use are written in VB. MS Word, Excel, and Access to name the more prominent software. Quotes Plus uses them for several of the reports that you would use, ie, Performance of a list, SP index/IrL, and others from the report module. I want to have reports with some other information than what is in the can. Greater versatility in determining good performers, and hopefully $$$$$$. Hope this helps Arctic Mike
