I think the chances are fairly good that AT&T will receive RDRAM enabled "cable" set top boxes from Panasonic but the Rambus press release clearly states satellite set top boxes. john from Business Wire article Through this alliance, the companies expect to expand the competitive retail marketplace for advanced digital cable set-top boxes, in turn increasing new services and choices for consumers, and stimulating the introduction of new broadband video, voice and data services via cable set-tops. from Rambus press release Panasonic started shipping several models of HDTVs and high definition digital satellite broadcast set-top boxes.
