Heard some zinc was contaminated and the billets need to be individually manually cleaned before they can be acceptable for selling. The bigger problem for users is there is more of the stuff being consumed than is being produced. What few zinc mines are scheduled to come onstream will not help as there are several scheduled for shutdown, running out of ore. Zinc deposits that are economic are in a good position.
