Hi Dipy,
Hope you are having a nice day. Have I ever mentioned how much I like your name?

Historically, there are strong ties between India and Afghanistan (the Afghan town Kandahar is referred to as "Gaandhaar" in Indian books).

Oh dear, ya got me. That certainly proves a real cultural similarity between India and Afghanistan.

There are also strong religious and cultural ties between Indian Kashmir and the northwestern region of Pakistan (and that is where Osama bin Laden is believed to be now).

Doggone it, ya got me again. That comment really does explain the strong cultural similarities between Afghanistan and India.

among the Muslims, the motto is "Me against my brother, but my brother and I against the stranger".

Wow...another one. You are on a roll now. Before ya know it Afghanistan will be 80% Hindu like India or India will be 99% Muslim like Afghanistan. I have to admit I had not recognized that similarity.

I know you are way ahead of me...but if ya ever have time you might want to look at these...
