My older son took one class in Arabic at one of the local Islamic centers.

The college Arabic programs are taught by a combination of ME immigrants-guess who-and radical leftists. I know this because there are the only people who can get hired by the Mid East Academic departments. Not too promising. And they don't want the grads to work for the Gov! Who special fund them, BTW.

When you add to that fact that the major ME departments get grants from the Wahhabi Saudi Arabians, it really gets bad.
