Ken, I totally agree with you. There are always fears that NT could
catch up, without Java I intend to agree with these fears on some degrees, with Java, the suitation is totally different, fears should
turn to MSFT. Most people don't understand java and don't know Java will change the future directions of computing industies, in these people minds, how much money java makes for SUNW right now is more important (around 50 millions last year, estimated 100 millions this year), somebody even thinks Java could be on sale, please enlighten me
how much java is worth because I cann't calculate its worth and I believe no one in this world can calculate Java's worth, nobody can offer to buy SUNW, what are a joke!
It is very important for MSFT if NT can catch up quickly because they
must prepare to compete in more fair play field in near future(in 2~3 years?) which any OS+JVM can access enough the same applications, Windows will not be only game in town for most applications.
