The Takeover Targets that Aren't

After reading this article I'm getting out of all juniors except those who are financed well enough to avoid predators like Barrick. Why I stayed as long in this corrupt field is a mystery and I'm sure others are reassessing their so called investments as well. This industry, for this lurkers here, is by far one of the most crooked rigged industries out there. I know, I live in Vancouver which puts me at a distinct advantage in making this statement. This FACT probably accounts for wilder than average swings in share prices compared to more stable investments. We are in a bear market in junior gold explorers and have been since August as 90% of all explorers that were hit have not recovered and are making new lows, many sinking off the charts.

It is not unusual for many juniors to lose 20% of their value in one session but most unusual for stocks in the broader markets to do this. I don't invest in the broader markets anyway, just an observation.

I'll stick with CKG because it is highly manipulated so that it is not subject to wild swings so I feel OK with it although I am disappointed in Randy's investment antics. Fact is he's a lousy investor but a very good geologist.
