O/T Weather Aggie, This never seems to get mentioned, and is probably not that important, but the summer of '99 was the coolest (coolest!) since the early '60's in Southern California. (1962 I believe). I didn't use my home A/C at all from early July until mid September. I'm a Neanderthal who thinks global warming is just another power grab. Many folks want us all to drive those little cars with motorcycle engines - like they use in Europe -the ones where your wife has to walk home from the grocery store if you buy more than 2 bags of food.<g>
