I read in a business magazine about the work going on to clean up our environment and coal burning was at the top of the list worldwide as it is the biggest polluter at the generator plants far more than the auto or the combustable
engines.
the ongoing research is taking the gas off the coal using a chemical and how to dispose of the spent sludge or co after ,without causing another environmental catastrophe.
they were going to try dumping it to the ocean depths outside Hawian islands but that was stopped ,now they are talking to oil companies about pumping it down the wells to replace the oil coming up .
so how to make a fuel cell work is only the first leg of the puzzle ,the article said that fuel cells are the coming future and will soon have all the hurdles solved as the big generator stations will be the first to change over.China is a big user of coal generators as they have an abundance of coal
