* Who do you like best now yourself - between Dean and Clark?

Is it not troubling to anyone that Clark is the only person to ever run for the white house who was a paid registered lobbyist. At the same time he was appearing on CNN as a military expert, he was also a registered lobbyist for Axiom trying to hook them some juicy homeland security money. Clearly integrity comes in degrees for Clark. I really don't trust him and think of him as the republican candidate running for office in the democratic party.

The media sure seems to be steering the country to pick Dean since he has raised the most money. I'm not completely sure that using this method is the best way to get someone different from Bush though. Since he is rejecting public matching fund so he can raise larger sums of money, you have to ask where will all this money come from and who will he be beholding to if elected. The answer is likely to be the same people who own Bush will be looking to buy Dean.

Also, Dean was instrumental in deregulating electric utilities in Vermont which is likely to cost his constituents big in years to come. It's also troubling that he is so reluctant to just open up his papers and let us take a look. I have really had enough of deregulation and secrecy with Bush. In a lot of ways Dean's mannerisms remind me of Bush's arrogance. Arrogance seems to be a winning trait right now, so maybe that is good.

I will vote for change no matter who is offered up to us, but Kucinich clearly is the least "owned" of those running. To bad that America will only vote for the candidate that the TV tells them to vote for and the TV goes for the guy with the most money every time. You'd think after the shafting we have all had to endure from doing this over and over and over again that we'd learn that maybe what the TV tells us to do is not in our best interest--especially considering who owns most of the media outlets now. I Guess common sense a bit too much to wish for....

* Who do you think stands the best chance of defeating Bush in November - out of these two.

Since Dean will likely be the candidate, it will be interesting to see if he defeats the kind of financial backing the Bush commands. I think there is enough anger in the country right now for this to happen. And now, even the Greens can see that there really is a difference between electing a democrat over a republican.
