Eric, It was Compaq that reverse engineered IBM. The rest is history...that`s were all the "clones" came from. IBM`s problem was that they were too fat and sassy. They couldn`t compete with the cloners. Now they do but still rely on name recognition to sell at a premium. You and I know they aren`t worth it but a lot of people don`t. Jim
