I just caught a guy a couple of weeks ago stealing my stainless scrap metal. So we did the 911 thing and I made him unload his truck, etc. Cop couldn't get there by the time the guy leaves and dispatcher tells me not to stop him from leaving.

So about a week ago the detective who is bringing the case forward calls me to interview me yet again. At the end he says was John driving the truck. I said well yeah, he was the only one there. He said are you sure. I said listen this is 6:30 am and I'm having coffee, yes I'm sure. 6:30 pm after martini's we could argue but not about this:) Anyhow I finish up and say gee, why are you questioning whether this guy was driving or not. Detective tells me he has a revoked license so they will also be charging him with driving after rev and he told them his friend was driving because of that. Friend actually says he was driving to bale this clown out. I assured him that John was alone and John was driving. After a pause he said I think you might get a kick out of this. I said ok, shoot. He said the guy that is giving John the alibi is also on parole and also has a revoked license so if he makes Johns alibi he is going to jail for driving after rev and as an accomplice for attempted burglary.

Man these folks are morons.
